.5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- 5+ years of professional or military experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational levelAWS is seeking a Strategy and Business Development (SBD) Leader to join our team in Mexico or Brazil to cover all Latin America for the Strategic BD team within AWS.
This is a unique opportunity to join a centralized corporate team that manages strategic partnerships across all of Amazon for our strategic AWS customers.
As a Strategy and Business development leader in Latam, your role is to identify and deliver high-impact engagements.




This person will be responsible for managing opportunities end-to-end (commonly the most complex challenges in never-been-done before deals) and driving these high impact partnerships through to completion.
We are looking for someone who has the business acumen to structure best in class partnerships that create value for Amazon, Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as our AWS end-customers.
The ability to manage executive relationships (internal and customer-facing) will be critical as this person will negotiate partnership deals that are unconventional, need a centralized advocate, and/or have broader implications to AWS and other Amazon business units that are not immediately obvious.This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of AWS and Amazon and expanding the teams current coverage model.
You will need to work collaboratively with internal leadership teams to understand relative advantages and risks, if/when major features should be included to existing roadmaps, along having a pulse on current trends around innovation, consolidation, and cloud adoption.




We dive deep and provide thoughtful technical and business analysis, while being able to balance the ability to quickly gaining the appropriate context to enable data-driven decision-making.AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing smallKey job responsibilities- Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage partnerships that can involve marketing/advertising, content, commerce, and technology components.- Ability to assess commercial feasibility for AWS and Amazon business and create new deal constructs.- Evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of partnerships.- Lead cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Tax, Accounting,



and senior management to execute on the relationships.- Support the strategic objectives and interests of Amazon's business teams on a global basis.- Build strong internal relationships with leaders and counterparts across Amazon's diverse set of businesses
