About the role This role will be in charge of planning and executing projects assigned in order to keep them as planned,
manage priorities, work with engineering projects with governance D/E and local, work in quality product and manufacturing improvement, as well as product lab certification, special order support and ensuring AHRI, UL and ETL agency certifications.
Communication with Marketing team is essential.
Key responsibilities Provide engineering support for field quality issues reported, offering effective solutions to improve product quality with a competitive cost in a timely manner.Provide factory support regarding product engineering and design fabricated in commercial manufacturing plants under our operative system Cx.Lead and execute mid to high-complexity programs with minimal supervision/direction.Perform engineering test and qualification plan for product improvements.Secure and keep agency reports for Commercial products under UL and ETL.Actively participate in product design reviews alongside other project team members and key stakeholders.Develop and maintain standard products that are world-class,
safe and cost-competitive.Provide professional and technical assistance for troubleshooting product support and guidance.Participate in defining technical requirements as needed.Drive improvements based on end-user experience and perform corrective actions for field issues and product testing.Work with product management team to develop and introduce new product options as standard product.Requirements 4-6 years as a Product/Design engineer.4-6 years working with product change implementation.Knowledge of design processes and tools.Knowledge of Heat Transfer, Fluids Flow, and Thermodynamics.Technical knowledge in HVAC equipment and applications.Electricity, Electronics, Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.Project management.Fluent in English (90%).Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have: Knowledge of Modelling and Simulation,
