**What's the role?
**Etsy is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Inventory Personalization and Customization team!
This web-focused team is part of the Buyer Experience Initiative,
and is dedicated to developing features that improve clarity and interaction with listings which offer both personalizable and customizable options.As a Software Engineer II on our team, you will be responsible for:- Building and maintaining software written in PHP and React/Typescript- Close attention to detail, with the ability to translate design and product requirements to production-ready code- Strong communication that adapts to technical and non-technical audiences- Work closely with third-party APIs, such as Zendesk, to provide stellar support to our buyers- Consistently and proactively breaking down large features into multiple stages for delivery- Identifying and resolving difficult architectural and technical trade-offsThis is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.
