.TasksComputerScienceDegree #MechatronicsDegree #ElectronicDegreeAs ADAS Embedded Software Test Lead you'll help to develop Long and Short-Range Radar sensors, Camera Vision systems, LiDAR and other related advanced vehicle sensing components to enable driving functions and other automated driving features to make Autonomous Mobility happen.ADAS is currently developing functions such as Full-Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Controls, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Object Detection and Collision Mitigation Systems.A Test Lead is responsible for reviewing,
defining and building/coordinating test cases for the L3 Software requirements verification; leads and coordinates all software test activities from planning until execution and result reporting.
You'll lead the necessary tests to verify the embedded software that enables the driving functions and features.The ADAS Embedded Software Test Lead isn't just a facilitator; it is an experienced tester that shares her/his knowledge within the Team and leads by example.
Also, you will be involved in the automation strategy needed for the success of the SW Testing activities, so testing is done continuously.
**Main responsibilities**:Lead the testing activities for one or more projects.Defines and updates the test plan and scope for each SW development phase.Coordinate the activities of the test engineers at a project level.
**Note**: these engineers will not report to you as a supervisor (this is not a people manager role).Have constant communication with stakeholders, create reports and present test results reviews to stakeholders.Track progress, inform risks and follow-up them,
so the Team can meet deadlines in time and with quality.Assist in performing requirements analysis in order to guide test engineers to generate test cases that thoroughly verify them.Provides support in the execution of manual/automated tests when needed, and perform results analysis of results found.Report and follow up on defects found.Supports software developers in root cause analysis when needed.
**Qualifications**:In addition to a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar; it is required the following knowledge and skills:- Understanding of the software development life cycle.- Understanding of embedded systems.- Experience leading or coordinating activities.- Basic C, C++ or Python language programming knowledge.- Debugging Skills (log file analysis, oscilloscope,)- Intermediate Software Requirement Analysis.- Basic to Intermediate ASPICE knowledge- Intermediate understanding of the uses,
methods and testing techniques.- Intermediate testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing or similar role in testing discipline
