**Eaton's Aerospace division is currently seeking a Molding Manager to join our team.
** This position is based at our Nogales facility.
The Molding Manager is responsible for managing all molds & tooling from onboarding new molds through completing repairs and improvements to molds in support of ongoing production.
Onboarding new molds includes the writing and execution of OQ/PQ process validation protocols and reports.
This position will assist addressing customer feedback issues with molded components, implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas..
Some activities related with the position will be:
- Responsible for managing the onboarding of new tooling within projects regardless of scale
- Responsible for managing the floor with all the molding machines KPIs ( Scrap, MUV,OEE, OTD,SA, DOH, WIP, Resins etc)
- Quote tooling, approve mold designs, source molds through approved suppliers (domestically and internationally), and track mold builds.
- Manage a team of Molding Process Engineers in the writing and execution of OQ/PQ process validation protocols and reports
- Provide on-site support for tool builds and mold tryouts
- Work with Engineering to lead design reviews and complete tooling refinement during development/validation
- Supervise, train, and lead the Molding & tool room staff to produce quality molded products in a safe and productive manner.
- Provide support for tooling in production including spares management
- Work with Process Engineers to resolve issues and maintain tool & Machine condition for the life of tooling/Machine
- Track progress on tooling repairs and modifications.
Work with Engineering, Production, customers, and vendors to expedite in a timely and cost-effective manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Required (Basic) Qualifications**:
- Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Equivalent
- Must have experience in tooling design, fabrication, development, testing, and validation
- Experience and understanding of de-coupled injection molding and structured process development
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping capability
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills in order to manage multiple responsibilities
- High level of initiative and flexibility in adapting to changing needs of a dynamic work environment
