Your Mission
The Senior Test engineer applies the Murex test processes to ensure that a client instance meets its quality objectives within time, cost, and risks constraints with a strong focus on test automation build, execution and analysis.
This is assisted by continuously getting trained on cutting-edge technologies, and methodologies and assigned MX.3 platform modules such as trading, risk management, collateral, operations, finance, investment management and treasury.
You are part of a cross-technical and functional agile team involved in the client product lifecycle, ensuring that the client product is tested and delivered the right way while continuously improving the processes and the path by which quality is achieved.
**Your Responsibilities**
Develop technical and financial expertise on Murex product solutions through initial onboarding, on the job experience, and other learning opportunities
Actively participate in the test planning of the client product delivery part of the agile team
Design and execute test plans based on client requirements and acceptance criteria
Build and maintain efficient and effective test suites by automating test scenarios following the testing standards and automation best practices
Ensure test cases are well designed and documented in accordance with the test strategy
Analyze results of manual and automated tests by performing root cause analysis of encountered behaviors, following up on identified issues (regressions, bugs, impacts ) with corresponding peers (developers, business analysts) till resolutions
Enhance the overall quality of the MX Products by identifying test coverage gaps and closing them via the right means
Optimize the path to achieve quality, by continuously improving tests and processes efficiency
Provide timely and accurate feedback to his team/project on progress of issues and tasks and escalate problems when necessary
Share acquired expertise with peers through knowledge base, collaboration, training,
and communities of practice
Guide the client on automation best practices, including reviewing client packages, and suggesting further developments
Support clients on Murex test automation tools' usage, and write/publish related Support Articles
Contribute to the test closure activities: Test completion checks - Test artifacts archival for capitalization and reusability - Test KPIs monitoring - Retrospective/Lessons learned
**Who you are**:
University degree in Computer science, computer engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
4-10 years of experience
Knowledge in technical environments such as SQL, XML, Unix, Windows
Knowledge in the capital market is a plus
Experience in the Software Engineering Industry, Software Quality & Testing, Test Management is a plus
ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
Communication and presentation skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Teamwork and cross-group collaboration

$30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month
