**About WEBTOON**:
As a Social Media Community Manager, you will serve as the voice of WEBTOON to engage with the community and multiply our social presence.
Reporting directly to WEBTOON's Head of Growth,



this is a unique opportunity to build and manage successful online communities across the entire WEBTOON ecosystem as you will be responsible for crafting and executing optimal strategies for WEBTOON's fan-facing and creator-facing social media accounts.
This role is critical in developing and strengthening our unique voice to expand our 7M reader base in the LatAm market.

You are a highly collaborative teammate in a growing team, but also comfortable working independently in a scrappy, start-up like environment.
You are not afraid to think outside the box and are willing to get your hands dirty to see each project to completion.
This position may be expected to communicate outside of normal business hours on occasion due to the nature of social media and various time zones.
**This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office and temporarily working remote.

**Responsibilities**




- Develop the voice of our official social media accounts for our fans, and UGC accounts for our creators in LatAm to drive awareness for WEBTOON
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build ambitious and comprehensive marketing plans with holistic growth for the Spanish platform and the creator community
- Own the publishing of social platforms, ensuring all content is executed as planned on calendar and well-optimized across relevant channels by tagging, linking, and performance tracking
- Execute compelling social media strategies to build a strong sense of community by engaging with users, creators, and brands on all channels, actively answering questions and concerns posted on our social channels, engaging in dialogues with comments where appropriate
- Develop and amplify organic content and conversation around brand content, user-generated,



and influencer-generated content to maximize fan growth and engagement
- Work with UGC team to raise the profile and conversation around CANVAS titles and creators, and help amplify creator events and education programs
- Monitor and clearly communicate fan and creator feedback and insights to inform product/service decisions
- Track, measure, and report on content and channel results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Manage budget for all social media channels
- Serve as internal advocate for LatAm communities and regional opportunities
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of proven experience leading community management in the entertainment sphere and/or experience working with creators




- Strong Spanish communication skills and professional working proficiency in English
- Loves WEBTOON, comics, animation, gaming, music, cinema, and entertainment, and is deeply engaged in these communities
- Understanding of the current local Gen Z trends and the social media landscape, and the ability to translate these insights to an effective social media strategy
- Hands-on professional experience with all social media platforms, and in implementing social media calendars, schedulers, tools and templates to optimize processes
- Proven understanding of developing content for a wide array of business goals including awareness, conversion, engagement, and retention
- Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to improve content and campaign performance, you are a master at Excel and/or Airtable
- Proactive, always proposing and trying new ideas




- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and execute multiple projects with enthusiasm and attention to detail
- Your responses are very well-thought, speedy fast, and with a great sense of humor
- Ability to work in a global company with stakeholders across different time zones and languages
- Understanding of graphic design and video editing skills are a plus
