._**Customer Quality Engineer - Operations Support**_- **Position Overview**:_With the assistance of NEF Canada Quality Assurance, oversee the quality processes of the GX Pro Opus warehouse, ensuring all requirements and processes are followed accurately and safely.- **Main Responsibilities**:_- Oversee sorting, kitting, and light assembly tasks to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.- Inspect, audit (process, system, product, supplier), and test incoming shipments to meet quality standards.- Manage calibration of all measurement equipment.- Coordinate containment and resolution of Non-Conforming Products and Quality Alerts.- Ensure continuous production by supplying customers with quality-assured products, including NEF sorting,



third-party sorting, and shipping proven inventory.- Conduct customer visits to address quality concerns and collaborate with NEF Quality Assurance (QA).- Report to the NEF Quality Assurance Manager- Support ISO certification- Perform additional tasks as assigned.- **Education / Experience**:_Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar- **Key Skills / Core Competencies**:_- Manufacturing/Quality Engineer and PPAP experience.- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to address and resolve complex issues.- Strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills- Capability to ensure internal processes consistently produce quality outcomes.- Strong leadership skills, setting an example within the warehouse environment.- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.- Working knowledge of MS Office- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet strict deadlines.- Bilingual - English and Spanish- **Preferred Experience**:_- Minimum three years of experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.- Knowledge of the IMMEX program, ISO standards, and quality systems.- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.- Warehouse and distribution experience is a plus.- **Company Overview**:_- National Engineered Fasteners Group (NEF) is a firm dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective engineered fastening solutions to global manufacturers.
