Ciena makes your social / entertainment / business existence REAL.- Ciena is seeking an expert Global Benefits Program Manager that will own the day to day operations of global mobility, and wellbeing.




You will be the primary source of contact and provide consistent and comprehensive management of program activities across 35+ countries globally.- This role will partner with internal customers, including Total Rewards, Finance, Tax, Payroll, HRIS, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, as well as external tax, mobility and immigration vendors to provide an end to end service.Duties and Accountabilities - GLOBAL WELLBEING PROGRAM- Partner with Sr.
Manager, Global Programs to develop and deliver short and long term strategic recommendations to ensure global benefit programs are cost effective, competitive and flexible while in compliance with all local legislation.- Research, design and recommend new global wellbeing programs- Drive greater global operational efficiencies where possible, ensuring appropriate controls are in place- Procure, implement, and run all aspects of global wellbeing programs including renewals, administration, communication, regulatory compliance, program design, policy development, vendor management and customer service- Be responsible for global wellbeing program by supporting compliance to defined wellbeing and communication strategy, assess impact,



re-evaluate and recommend changes to align to market and best practices- Assess the external environment to identify changes to legislation, demographic, social trends, or competitive practices that affect benefits programs and recommend appropriate action for Ciena to take in response- Develop all communications and benefit summaries for new hires and existing employees- Own maintenance of intranet site and ensure accuracy of all policies and plan summaries- Manage the vendor relationships to ensure high quality and efficient servicesDuties and Accountabilities - GLOBAL MOBILITY- Responsible for the ongoing review and implementation of Global Mobility Programs:- Permanent International New Hires and Transfers- In-Country (Domestic)



New Hires and Transfers- Expat Assignments- Short Term Assignments- Flexible Assignments (as set up to meet business requirements)- Immigration and Taxation- Responsible for the creation, approval and posting of supporting Policy and Procedures to adhere to global mobility processes and policies, tax, immigration and country legislation
