Key User for GSI Implementation
Roles and responsibilities
- The Key-User ensures the appropriate support to end-users concerning his perimeter.
- The Key-User is capturing incidents & defects raised by end-users.
He processing characterization of issues.
Whenever possible, he contains them by workaround.
He (she) expresses issues & transmit them to the appropriate support team (BPO).
- The Key-User proposes IS or IT upgrades coming from his expertise or other workshops (Kaizen).
- The Key-User tests new functionalities or other upgrades of the solution.
- The Key-User is the leader of coherence of data for his stream within his (her) site.
- He is the link with other KU (same metier in other sites) or other KU in his (her) site for sharing best practices & upgrade proposal.
- The Key-User trains end-users, both for process appropriation and IS tool.
The KU has been trained to train the trainer cessions.
- The KU puts in place and manages IS usage control, ensuring that end-users are well using the system.
- The Key-User maintains on on-site training documentation (process & IS)
- The Key-User is in charge of the elaboration of quality system reference and documentation of his metier on his site.
- The Key-User surveys data consistency on his stream,
even if those data are coming from other processes (ownership).
- The Key-User drives the indicators (effectiveness metrics & KPI) in his perimeter.
- The Key-User drives appropriate corrective action whenever it occurs.
- The Key-User is accountable in his organization for the routings & data extracts.
- The Key-User is accountable for process solving issues (idocs)
- The Key-User manages the accounts access in his stream, according to internal control rules.
**Educational Requirements**
- Experienced person, with 2-3 years with a perfect knowledge of the internal processes of his entity.
- Opened minded person, focused on continuous improvement.
- Capacity to train end-users and follow-up their technical development.
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
- Study in engineering or Business Administration
- Strong knowledge in ERP SAP, MRP topics
- Desired experienced in APICS, train the trainers
