We are hiring a Sales and Operations Planning Manager !
This is a new role that we are adding to the team, and you will be responsible for managing, executing and collaborating with activities including demand planning for over 200 SKUs and multiple customers, tracking forecast accuracy, monitor company's SLOB and create processes to maintain frequent communication with supply chain, customer service and related areas involved in the fulfilment process.
Responsibilities include:
**Demand Planning**: Be the owner of the forecast in conjunction with the business team.
Update in a monthly basis in the JDA software the forecast for more +200 SKUs for a period of 24 months.
In addition is accountable for all KPIs that relates to a demand planning activity such as forecast BIAS and accuracy, SLOB, lack of products.
The activity requires regular communication with the international demand planner, supply chain and customer service team.
**Budget and forecast cycles**:
Develop all analysis needed with a mix of data such as sell in/out, inventory levels and sales trends to run the financial budget and forecast reviews.
You will work with finance, executive team and commercial.
**Business Cases**: Build and develop studies to support sales plans with P&L; analysis, value chains, and competitive sets and market studies to improve overall performance.
**Value chains and price analysis**: Build value chains across all countries to set the correct price, crossing with GPN targets for D&A; and CM.
**Business Intelligence**: Gather information from the market, trends, competition, insights, analytics and translate them into recommendations/guidance to the business team to invest on NPD, pricing, promotions, channels, etc
**Reporting**: Provide periodic reports to the business with full data (results, forecast, trends,
etc flagging opportunities / issues and proposing actions).
**Experience needed**:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in business positions
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Administration, Marketing or related
At least 5 years of proven experience of S&OP; and data management
Experience to work on a matrix structure
English as second Language (Fluent) and Spanish (native).
Think strategically and tactically as well
Willingness to travel
In addition, the Sales Planning & Operations manager is also responsible for being the interface between sales and the factory, understanding in depth sales projections, seasonality, inventory levels, mix of products, new product launches, promo calendar, etc.
Regarding business intelligence, you will keep track of competition and pricing,
understand overall market trends and consumer insights and combine all those components, providing intelligence to support identifying opportunities or gaps of the business.
