About the role
This role involves creating and maintaining process documentation, providing finance support for F&AS; projects, and handling ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader. Attention to detail, a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, and effective collaboration skills are key attributes for success in this position.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and prepare accounting data for posting, collaborating with FP&A;, global accounting, and tax departments to gather necessary details, such as calculating intercompany invoices, interests, and maintaining schedules for cost amortization and accruals.
- Assist in the annual statutory audits.
- Actively participate in the monthly closing process, including expense and balance sheet account analysis pertaining to owned areas.
- Assist in financial analysis and ad-hoc projects, as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Degree in Accounting or other relevant field required.
- Excellent communication/documentation skills (oral and written).
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- English very good, other language will be an asset.
