**A Snapshot of Your Day**
The Manager Guarantee Advisory & Processing provides Siemens Energywith guidance and assistance on Guarantees and Letter of Credits at a RegionalLevel related to various projects, as well as conducting independentevaluations of Guarantee and Letter of Credits terms, pinpointing potentialrisks, and formulating strategies to minimize them.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Act as point of contact for Guarantees and Letter of Credits at a regional level (Latam)
- Support the Siemens Energy Organization on the issuance, advisory and ongoing management of guarantees for customers, as well as (export) letters of credit, along with providing the required system and data maintenance,
documentation, reports, and controls.
- In cooperation with the respective internal departments, negotiate terms and conditions for projects.
- Request and see through the processing of the guarantee issuance - including the respective formal checks and documentation - directly with Banks, Surety companies and brokers
- Support the business units with continuous risk evaluation of the Guarantees and Letter of Credit portfolios and the definition of respective risk mitigation proposals.
**What You Bring**
You have completed academic studies in business administration or completeda commercial apprenticeship in banking.
- You have a minimum of eight years of working experience in the finance business in a bank or (multinational) corporation, in trade finance, corporate treasury and preferably as well in guarantee
- You are familiar with guarantee-related topics including the negotiation of guarantee wording with banks, surety companies and brokers
- You are fluent in English; business fluent knowledge of additional European languages would be beneficial.
- Being able to communicate effectively in multicultural environments and collaborate with relevant stakeholders among bank partners, surety companies, CFOs, Business Units Finance Heads, Accounting, Legal, and Taxes
- Knowledge of country/regional Latam markets, regulatory framework and other financial institutions are preferable.
- You are highly customer-focused, and team-oriented and have a generally good knowledge of commonly used IT software, including Excel.
- You might be able to consider living in Queretaro, Qro
