We are actively seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Data Collection and Fieldwork Technologies team in Mexico.
Role Purpose: The successful applicant will play a key role in providing and delivering best-in-class survey solutions for our internal clients and stakeholders.
This role will primarily serve our data collection studies and products in the USA & Canada,
focusing on telephone and online data collection.
The successful candidate will use their skills to support ongoing initiatives, identify efficiencies and enhancements, and design, develop, and deploy these solutions on time and to a high standard.
Role Description - Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern frameworks and tools. Design, implement, and optimize backend services and APIs to support application functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. Utilize Microsoft Azure services for application deployment, scaling, and management. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development to continually enhance skill sets. Required Skills: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and other cloud-based solutions. Proficiency with SQL queries and query optimization. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in C# and .NET framework for backend development. Knowledge of database design and management using SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with Advanced English Language skills.
