Come join us.The opportunityThe Partner Operations Associate plays a critical role in Flexport's mission to make commerce so easy there will be more of it.
This role will focus on our business in Mexico in a cross-functional environment, partnering closely with our clients, forwarding partners, ocean carriers, trucking providers, and different teams across the company to achieve our common objectives.You willHelp to build operational performance framework, processes, and tools to measure our operations performance in Mexico.Drive performance management of Flexport's ocean, air, freight forwarding, trucking, and CFS partners, leveraging global performance metrics, targets, dashboards, and reporting to drive quality and consistency of operations.Be a part of the team that sets performance targets to partners, local teams, and establish local governance cadence (such as QBRs, monthly reviews, weekly reporting)
with top-tier network partners.Be a trusted advisor and coach to the local execution team; continuously identify gaps and develop solutions focused on process standardization for both the Flexport operations team.Solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination and escalate issues as needed with Flexport internal teams.Identify operations training needs and design and execute training programs to drive operational quality.Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams (including Sales, Account Management, Trade Lane managers (Air, Ocean, warehousing), Operations, and others) to design logistics solutions for Clients and win new business for Flexport.You should haveBilingual in English and Spanish required.BA/BS Degree.2+ years of experience in logistics,
freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting.Ability to wear multiple hats, as an analyst who refines and builds dashboards and as an associate who implements and gathers feedback from partners on performance metrics.Analytical skills and next-level attention to detail.Strategic vision and ground floor execution.A system and process-oriented mindset.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
