About The RoleWe are looking for an exceptional Channel Sales Engineer to join our team.
You will have the opportunity to be the partner interface of an exciting new technology.
You will work closely with the channel sales team presenting ThousandEyes in prospective business opportunities; be instrumental in working with partners to build ThousandEyes practice capabilities and business value; educate and enable partner technical sellers, assist in building managed services opportunities, and drive partners' engagement with customers and the sales team on ThousandEyes solutions.
What You'll DoSupport the technical sales processAssist channel sales in prospecting to help uncover opportunitiesDemonstrate solutions to showcase capabilities and use-casesBuild and maintain a technical and trusted advisor relationship with partnersScope and architect solution deploymentsPresent to partner leadership and key decision makersParticipate as a member of the Solutions Engineering teamsParticipate in weekly team meetingsParticipate in quarterly business review meetingsPresent technical topics and successful winsShare technical challenges and ways to overcomeInteract with team to ask questions, share experiences, and exchange ideasHelp establish and enhance demonstration material showcasing the solutionResearch technical topics impacting the industry to grow as an industry leaderInterface with MarketingSupport trade shows and networking eventsSupport ThousandEyes Connect eventsContribute to blog and social media postsSuggest and contribute to white-papers and case-studiesInterface with Product Management and EngineeringProvide solution feedback from hands-on use and customer interactionProvide solution suggestions and enhancements to drive solution strategyParticipate, drive and provide feedback on internal and external solution beta programsInterface with Customer SuccessCoordinate with Customer Success in providing post-sales support (training, deployment, support, etc.
)Encourage and guide customers to utilize Customer Success as an extension of their NOC to help ensure successQualificationsLanguage Requirements: Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese3+ years of Sales Engineering ExperienceExcellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of application and network protocols (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP,
