Job Description
Zendesk is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager based in Mexico City to join our Global Lifecycle Marketing team. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of marketing automation programs, delivering targeted and personalized email campaigns that enhance the customer lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute lifecycle marketing strategies and leverage automation tools to drive impactful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation Strategy:
Design and implement scalable marketing automation programs to support customer lifecycle marketing and meet business objectives.
- Campaign Development:
Manage and optimize triggered email campaigns, aligning them with lifecycle stages, customer behaviors, and localization requirements.
- Platform Expertise:
Serve as the subject matter expert for automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, and Pendo. Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to optimize campaign execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these tools into broader marketing strategies and workflows.
- Email & Landing Page Development:
Leverage your expertise in HTML/CSS to create responsive, visually engaging email templates and landing pages that drive user engagement and conversions.
- Analytics & Optimization:
Independently analyze campaign performance using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, and Power BI to track results and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Project Management:
Lead end-to-end project management for marketing initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, effective collaboration with stakeholders,
and resolution of challenges.
What You Bring to the Role
- More than 5 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong focus on marketing operations, email automation, and managing global campaigns.
- Proven success in developing and managing triggered email campaigns that enhance customer engagement and support key stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, and Pendo.
- Advanced skills in HTML/CSS to create responsive, visually appealing email templates and landing pages.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct independent analysis using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, and Power BI to measure campaign effectiveness and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks,
and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), particularly Adobe Experience Platform, is highly desirable.
Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
