**LAM/MX Manager AB and C**

Role Purpose

Active participation as part of the "Subject Matter Expert" (SME) team in the implementation, development and enhancement of FCC LAM & Mexico's anti-bribery and corruption (AB&C;) procedures and methodology.
Role primarily entails: controlling risks regarding AB&C; tailoring Group FCC policy to LAM and Mexico and assuring AB&C; Global Standards implementations to ensure global consistency.
Requirements

- Accountable for the anti-bribery and corruption ("AB&C;") risk management framework in LAM to ensure it meets legislative and regulatory requirements.




- Accountable for controlling the implementation of HSBC's AB&C; strategy, policy and standards, controls, systems and policies implemented in LAM.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in relation to AB&C; risk.
- Participate in and work with the First Line of Business in relation to AB&C; related initiatives, trends and proposals according to the AB&C; policy.
- Stay at the forefront of key regulatory changes to ensure proactive communication with business and implement appropriate group policy and framework to manage the changes.
- Key strategic risk management role providing oversight and management of all aspects of AB&C; FCC including impact analysis of regulatory changes within LAM.

- Applicable standards, policies and procedures developed and implemented.
- Monitor compliance with the KPI, KRI and KCI related to AB&C;,



implemented in the AB&C; MI and FCC MI Dashboards.
- Track the strategic implementation of an effective regional AB&C; controls framework.
- Actively participate in the administration of systems owned by AB&C; e.g.
(AP-GTR, GER) and where AB&C; has direct participation e.g.
(Archer).
- Follow up on updating the advice provided by AB&C; and, if necessary, complete the corresponding actions.
Liderazgo & Trabajo en equipo
- Plan and participate in the different meetings and initiatives with stakeholder areas that make up FCC as well as lines of business and global functions.
Efectividad Operacional y Control
- Timely prepare various reports such as the Regional Bribery MI to keep track of AB&C; matters, incidents, deviations from policies and procedures.




- Timely respond to questions and consultations from internal and external stakeholders.
**Contexto del Puesto**_ _
- Must operate with a high degree of autonomy and in a very structured fashion so as to meet the deadlines established as well as the quick response times with which consultations should be answered.
- Must be someone with initiative and compromise thus this is a small team and all the members have to take decisions.
- Must have facility to learn fast and operate global tools or systems, not only for consultancy, but also for approving things there for the users and also for generating data or MI from there.
The systems more used in AB&S; are: Gifts & Entertainment Register (GER), ARCHER (for all the third parties' topic) and TALEO (related to the connected hires procedure shared with Human Resources).
**Conocimientos & Experiência**:




Extensive knowledge of AB&C; regulations and guidance.
- Extensive knowledge of the HSBC Group structure, its business and personnel, and a deep understanding of HSBC's corporate culture.
- Possess knowledge of UK and US anti-bribery laws (i.e.
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act) preferably.
- Significant experience in the financial services industry.
- Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues.
- Well developed leadership skills.
- Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills.
- Outstanding communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at a senior level.
- Experience developing an AB&C; assurance model and developing/leading a review tea
- Experience in leading assurance work in a complementary discipline.
- Having English and Spanish proficiency is required.




- Well developed ability for using Excel, Internet, and other IT tools for generating and follow-up metrics for oversight activities, is preferred.
- Experience in providing training is also preferred.
