Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a _Buyer Direct_ located in _Flex Juarez._
- Reporting to the _Purchasing Manager Direct_,



_Buyer Direct_ this role involves_ _MRP and company strategy for maintaining optimum inventory levels.
PPV, expedite and other reasonable commercial efforts to execute MRP._

What a typical day looks like:

- _
Reviews requisitions and MRP output._
- _
Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule._
- _
Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase._
- _
Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._
- _
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories._
- _
Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate._
- _
Approves invoices for payment._
- _
Expedites delivery of goods to users._
- _
Analyzes inventory levels.
Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management._
- _
May gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts and make awards._
- _
May plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle._
- _




Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price._
- _
Makes tactical buying decisions.
Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts._
- _
Conducts quarterly supplier reviews._
- _
Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics._
- _
Prepares and/or reviews bid requests and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority._
- _
Estimates values according to knowledge of market price._

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience._
- _
BA/BS or equivalent work experience_
- _
Fluent English spoken and written_
- _
Procurement and supplier negotiation skills_
- _
Knowledge in international logistics (import / export)_
- _




Strong knowledge in Purchase Order Process._
