We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Project Manager Recovery and Resolution Planning**.
This is a new role that will support the Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team.
The RRP team is the custodian of the Group Recovery and Resolution Strategy (and any local requirements), which includes the management of our capabilities to recover in a severe stress and if unsuccessful our ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way.
The role is responsible to provide Project Management Office (PMO) coverage for deliverables across the Americas including:
- The Group Recovery Plan (GRP)
- Local Resolution Planning
- Local Recovery Planning
The role holder will be aligned to the Americas RRP Office supporting PMO activities in the region.
The role will include:
- Documenting and maintaining Project Plans.
- Weekly and monthly Status reporting, maintaining dashboards in Excel.
- Weekly and monthly status reporting in Clarity.
- Creating Power Point Presentation packs for use in Governance meetings.
- Scheduling Governance meetings.
- Taking minutes in Governance meetings and distributing post meeting.
- Maintaining action logs.
- Maintaining Risk Issues Dependencies.
**Requirements**:
**Functional Knowledge / Skills**
- Relevant HSBC system knowledge e.g.
Clarity.
- Excellent Power Point Skills.
- Experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
- Experience in gathering complex information and presenting the information in a digestible manner.
- Experience in governance management.
- Experience in taking minutes in meetings.
- Experience in creating and managing Project Plans.
- Organised and works well to deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Personal presence and able to command respect at a senior level.
- Experience delivering to internal stakeholders such as internal auditors; business functions; etc.
- Proven experience of project delivery, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery.
**Qualifications/ Experience**
- Experience working in a Project Management Office for a large project is desirable.
- Experience managing projects using the HSBC Change methodology is desirable.
- PMP Certified (or other Project Management qualification) is desirable.
