Our **Faurecia Automotive Seating - North America Seating Division** is looking for you as a **Senior Quality Engineer, Problem Solving **M/F for our site in** Monterrey, México.
**
**Your role and responsibilities?
**
The role of the Senior Quality Engineer, Problem Solving is to perform the activities to resolve and manage the non-quality cost and ensures respect of standards & procedures.
**The main missions of the role are**:
Non-quality cost Issue Management:
- Prioritize the non-quality cost projects and cost convergence with plants and division finance controlling function.
- Collaboration with cross functional teams including Plants, division, and engineering functions to develop and implement the solutions.
- Track and report no-quality cost metrics including the number of issues, root cause analysis, actions, and related cost.
- Strong results orientation.
Non-quality cost is driven by dollar amount.
- Work closely with issue owner and measure impact of identified QSE actions.
- Keep the management updated on key issues, opportunities, and progress.
Non-quality cost Issue Resolution:
- Applicable use of Forvia Problem solving methodologies for non-quality cost related activities by identifying root cause and direct for needed corrective actions.
- Investigate Non -quality cost projects and removing drivers of non-quality cost.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformance issues.
- Ensure capitalization & Transversalization of lessons learned.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum education level**:Minimum education level Engineer Bachelor / Masters or technical with equivalent combination of education and experience.
**:
**Experience**:
- Minimum 5+ years related experience in Manufacturing environment, Automotive industry preferred.
- High technical expertise and understanding.
- Ability to work in matrix organization
- Strong ability in the understanding of automotive manufacturing processes & operational quality issues.
- Ability to work under pressure, tight timelines and deliver good results
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Good in verbal and written communication.
- Result oriented and positive thinking behavior.
- International mindset.
- Minimum Six sigma yellow belt certification from accredited institution is required.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical mindset with ability to identify and explain critical issues
- Strong knowledge in problem-solving methodologies (Such as Shainin RedX, Six Sigma, A3 & 8D-QRCI)
- Knowledge of IATF16949:2016 and AIAG core tools as PPAP, FMEA and SPC
- Strong attention to detail and clearly conveying and receiving messages to meet the needs of all, incl.
customer/supplier/operations interfacing
