**Your team responsibilities**
The individual will be part of our Index Products team and will play a direct role in driving the market research and intelligence efforts within the team.
The associate will report to the Global Index Market Intelligence Manager and will be involved in all aspects of market research and intelligence, including identifying and managing the most relevant sources of information, analyzing and distilling data to extract actionable insights, as well as presenting information clearly and effectively.
The scope of the research undertaken by this role is global and includes the monitoring and analysis of macro trends, industry developments, product trends and competitors across various markets,
utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Contribute to the market research and intelligence function within the Global Index Product group, enabling strategic decision-making and raising the groups' market and industry IQ
- Extract large amounts of data from different sources and use various tools (e.g.
Excel, Power BI) to analyze, visualize, and present results
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our strategy while staying on top of market trends and competitive activities to effectively 'connect the dots' and bring to the table relevant, decision-enabling insights
- Collaborate, communicate,
and work closely with other members of the Index Products team as well as across internal departments (research, marketing, operations, sales), locally and globally
- Consistent focus on distilling data and curating content to deliver relevant, digestible and actionable insights rather than simply aggregating data
- Proactively leverage technology to identify, design and/or implement innovative methods of collecting, distilling, and communicating timely and relevant market intelligence
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent presentation skills with the ability to establish logical flow and transform data into stories that can be easily absorbed and interpreted by executive stakeholders
- Ability to both prioritize responsibilities and manage time across multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Superior English communication skills and ability to work both independently and across teams
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to break down complex issues into smaller, manageable parts
- Be able to work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks efficiently and autonomously in parallel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience; experience in the financial industry is a plus
