- Support the accounting responsibilities within the Accounting Office. The position works among cross functional teams to ensure the accounting activities are appropriately analyzed, processed, and documented in compliance with internal controls,
process and procedure and local country regulations.
What you'll do
- Data entry, filing
- Basic data analysis and manipulation
- Monthly reporting
- Administrative duties and special projects as required
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and associated journal entries
- Support various tax/statistical filings
- Liaise with employees/ stations to resolve and handle queries that arise in the payment and processing of payroll
- Perform timesheet validation
- Perform absence tracking and audits
- Process new hires, leavers and pay changes
- Meet accounting goals and deadlines
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- University degree with a focus in accounting or equivalent education/training
- Previous office experience, desirable
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English and native language
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Data entry experience in an accounting or financial environment
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Above average oral/written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good team player
- Demonstrated excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Ability to deal with confidential subject matter and to ensure adherence to the Company's Confidentiality Policy
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
