As an Engineer, you bring hands on experience in machinery design concepts, robotic, PLC and vision programming,
safety and global standards.
With this knowledge you are comfortable working in a team environment to create the requirements and specifications in order to build world-class equipment.
**Detailed Description**:- Concept and architect automation stations and assembly lines- Analysis of inputs and the creation of User Requirements in order to determine feasibility of using one or more machines to carry out sequential operations in known process time- Must be capable of designing systems from sketches or verbal concepts- Perform engineering calculations with respect to cycle time, strength of materials, speeds, horsepower, temperature, pressure, force, etc.
as related to machine and tool designs- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine requirements in the development of equipment to meet process and products specifications- Produce working drawings, models and bills of materials for equipment,
in collaboration with Suppliers- Work with large global automation integrators to optimize systems from technical information and specifications- Analyze designs and systems for compliance to applicable standards (i.E.
CE or customer specific)- Communicate all requested design changes to various teams- Responsible for project management and on time, on budget project execution including communicating progress on project tasks to site/regional stakeholders- Formalize and update drawing documentation- Liaise with fabricators, machinists, toolmakers and electricians in the completion of equipment and resolving problems
