$1120 - $1600 (based on experience)**Schedule**:Monday - Friday / 7am - 3:30pm Pacific Standard Time**Job Overview**:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dispatcher to join our client, a leading provider of garage door and gate solutions.
The Dispatcher will play a critical role in coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery to their customers.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Because they're in the construction industry where they are generally solving other people's issues, quick problem solving is ideal.
**Responsibilities**:- Gather relevant information from customers, including address, contact details, and description of the issue.- Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians to job sites based on availability, location, and urgency.- Communicate with technicians to provide job details, directions,
and updates on customer appointments.- Monitor technician schedules and job progress to ensure timely completion of service calls.- Coordinate with the sales team to schedule estimates and follow-up appointments for new installations or repairs.- Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and technician availability using our dispatch software.- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up with customers after service calls.- Collaborate with other departments to optimize scheduling, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
**Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies**:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education ortraining in dispatching or customer service is preferred.- Proven experience in a dispatching role, preferably in a service-oriented industry such as home repair, maintenance, or construction.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians,
and other team members.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.- Proficiency in using dispatch software or similar scheduling tools; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
