UPM Raflatac is looking for a Security and Trade Compliance Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring full security and trade compliance processes are in place and adhered to in the organization.
Both CTPAT and trade compliance culture need to be established in the business process and follow as regular part of the work flow.

What you will do:
Security:

- Develop, implement and monitor security policies and instructions via auditing approach.
- Provide security guidance for projects, ensuring best practice is adopted in line with current threat and risk assessment processes.
- Supervise budgets for security operations and monitor expenses, review reports on incidents and breaches, investigate and resolve issues and incidents.
- Create periodical security reports and maintain other documentation as necessary.
- Support implementation of new security technology, create and manage emergency procedures and processes.
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms,



monitor and coordinate CTPAT security requirements and prevent unplanned changes.
Trade Compliance:

- Coordinate, implement & maintain compliance with CTPAT, PIP, CARM.
- Implement and maintain trade policies and procedures, including training program and standard operating procedures.
- Lead customs & trade compliance with detailed controls and processes in accordance to legal corporate policies and US / MX / CAN regulations.
- Address all US Customs & Border Protection (USCBP) inquiries, including, but not limited to: statistical inquiries, fines & penalties, prior disclosures, classification inquiries.
- Be regional designee on all international trade questions / concerns, liaise with Global Trade Compliance team.
- Build & maintain regional control framework for trade policies around: customs entry processing,



third party management, recordkeeping, regional rules of origin determination, customs bond process.
- Establish effective regional network resources, business relationships and contacts to ensure compliance with customs laws/regulations.
Who you are:

- You have a minimum of bachelor's degree in relevant field or at least 5 years of working experience within logistics/trade compliance field.
- You have solid solution-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and independent way of working.
- You have a creative way of working and you can take ownership of your responsibility area with entrepreneurial mindset.
- You are good at teamwork, and you have good social and communication skills, including presentation skills.
- You have business-oriented mindset and understanding of logistics chain.




- You possess min advance skills in both written and spoken English, other language skills are an asset.
