**Job Description**:BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Change and Problem Manager (CPM).
The V CPM is primarily responsible for reporting, planning, scheduling, and coordinating change requests and defect resolution activities for the assigned projects.
The role utilizes existing knowledge in hardware and software, combined with leadership skills, to drive actions across multiple disciplines and global locations.
**Responsibilities**:- Contributes to the overall project scope definition and objectives- Coordinates change requests and defect resolution activities across multiple development teams- Promotes change request and defect resolution implementation during project release and content planning- Key contributor and supporter of the change request and defect resolution processes- Mentors development and test engineers with respect to problem resolution methodologies- Drives systems related internal and externally detected issues to closure through root cause analysis, such as 8Ds.- Leads Change and Defect Control Board meetings with cross functional team- Works closely with other Project Leads and to plan change requests and defect resolution implementation- Assigns Change Requests to the appropriate internal stakeholders for estimation and planning- Assigns Defects to the appropriate internal stakeholders for root cause investigation- Defines, implements, and monitors performance metrics for changes and defects- Key contributor to DFMEA and Fault Tree development activities- Defines content and priorities of systems tasks using formal task management tools.- Ensures adherence of the system team activities to the internal ASPICE based development process.- Reviews work products to ensure quality and consistency.- Methodical and detailed approach to risk identification and mitigation
