**The Opportunity**

Our Project Controls department is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Mexico to support the implementation of Capital Projects by establishing appropriate levels of Project Controls to ensure our projects are completed on time and on budget.
We are looking for our Sr. Project Control Analyst who has deep knowledge and experience in:

- Cost Control and estimating.
- Scheduling.
- Corporate Reporting & Metrics.
- Management of Change Process.
- Risk & Contingency Management.
- Progress Measurement.
**Responsibilities**:

- Works closely with project management, contract administration, engineering and construction teams to define, manage and track project progress measurement.
- Manage,



analyze and submit corporate reporting with the support of project management and project governance teams ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness, and adhering to company standards.
- Coordinates the flow of project information (primarily cost, forecasting and change management) to the project teams and other stakeholders.
- Interfaces between the project management team and accounting department to review project costs and support internal / external audits as required.
- Works closely with project management team to perform detailed analysis and provide recommendations of pipelines construction progress vs planned progress, productivity analysis and analysis of changes impacting cost and schedule by EPC Contractor.
- Active engagement and follow up in project planning processes, such as baseline and critical path definition.




Support Project Scheduler with detailed reviews of baseline vs schedule updates to meet project's in-service dates as contractually committed with the client.
- Responsible for the Management of Change process and oversee risk management process during the implementation of Mexico Gas Pipeline Projects.
- Support Project Management in the review and validation of Contractor's progress payments and long lead materials /equipment invoices prior submission and payment of associated invoices.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure that project control standards are communicated and followed, with the support of the Technical Centre.
**Minimum Qualification**
- Bachelor's degree or science with relevant experience in project controls for at least 8 years, with high level of familiarity of general project management and cost controls principles.




- Proficiency in English speaking and writing is required to support bilingual reporting to Sr.
Leadership and able to maintain conversations with project teams.
- Experience in Major Projects, or managing smaller projects simultaneously.
Ideally from development stages to completion.
- Experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.
Work extensively with Contractors ensuring schedule and progress measurement requirement compliance, accurate and timely updates and slippage recovery.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Project and the ability to manage data sets obtained from various data sources is required.
- Willingness to participate in temporary relocation assignments.
**Preferred Qualification**




- Desired experience in Oil & gas industry at least 3 - 5 years.
Specific experience with pipelines and/compression would be beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of several project areas such as engineering, construction and supply chain.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and proven performance / results to modify working methods in the Project Controls department if needed.
- Capacity of team lead to provide assistance to Project Controls Team and support to Project Controls Manager.
- Proven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, develop and maintain collaborative working relationships in order to achieve project execution metrics.
- Ability to work independently and think analytically.
