**Engineering Manager -Tool Room and Maintenance**
Manufacturing company located in Ciudad Juarez, is searching for an Engineering Manager.
The incumbent is responsible for the Administration of the Engineering, Tool Room and Maintenance areas.
Leads, Identifies, and directs the execution of improvement efforts to achieving and exceeding business performance goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC), reduce waste in all manufacturing and business processes.
Using Lean Leadership experience, applies and Promotes Lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve cycle times and process flows.
- Coordinate and monitor activities related to the implementation of engineering changes.
Transfer of lines, pilot runs or engineering samples and support for new projects.
- Coordinate that the activities related to the basic documentation for the operation of the Process are fulfilled, as applicable; Flow Diagrams, Process Instructions, PFMEA, routings, lay out, study of times, elaboration of the standard work.
- Manage the activities to guarantee the optimum availability of the plant's equipment and facilities and services to facilitate the functioning and operation of the company, following the applicable safety standards.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Education: Engineer degree, MBA a plus
- Green Belt 6 Sigma, Black Belt is a plus
- Bilingual 90%: English - Spanish
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a management position in Manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in Lean Tools: VSM, 5'S, Std.
work, Continuous Flow, etc.
- Experience in organizing Kaizen events
- Experience in designs, tools, fixtures, poka-yokes.
- Strong analytical problem-solving techniques: (8 steps, 8D's, DMAIC)
- Experience with quality, environmental, health, safety management systems; ISO 9001 e ISO 14001
- Knowledge and statistical interpretation, Core Tools, Minitab
- Project Management skills
- Leadership, Strong coaching and organizational skills, Ability to organize and supervise.
