**Sr Manager Operational Risk Change Execution****Role Purpose****Main activities**- Change Execution control weaknesses / issues escalated through risk governance for resolution.- Compliance with regulatory requirements.- Positive customer / stakeholder feedback.- Effective management and engagement with Change Execution Risk and Control Owners.- Attendance and active participation in applicable change management governance meetings and working groups.- Monitoring of progress and actions to ensure timely resolution,
transparency and swift escalation.- Enhancements released in the Change Framework and associated Change Execution controls- Early reporting / escalation to senior management of identified Resilience risks and issues**Requirements**:**Requirements**:- Have extensive NFR knowledge and sufficient expertise to face off appropriately to a variety of risk managers in the Group and also external parties.
Recent experience in resilience risk management, key controls and processes preferred.- Have good experience of Transformation and change initiatives in a 1LOD or 2LOD capacity.- Experience in dealing with complex problems by adopting a pragmatic approach, identifying and prioritising core requirements and translating them into a clear set of required activities that address the problem essential.- Knowledge of the major areas of a Global Bank that can span retail, commercial or investment banking products and processes with a strong understanding of the risk characteristics / profile of key products and channels.- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills to be able to identify and present complex issues and build relationships with key internal & external stakeholders and be able to challenge and influence their decisions.- Excellent written communication skills to develop compelling and logically structured presentations and papers that are thoughtful, clear and concise.- Excellent analytical skills; comfortable interrogating dataHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and where their opinions count.
