**Job Description**:
You will work with the LATAM Energy Procurement Manager building sourcing projects for part of the region (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador), collaborating with key stakeholders and advising internal customers to enable the energy sourcing (electricity, natural gas, LPG and other energy commodities) at the best total cost while maximizing value for our company.
Your primary responsibilities:
- support and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities
- develop market intelligence with commodity drivers to energy portfolio.
- run regional or local tenders in coordination with the Global Energy Procurement team, and negotiate commercial agreements for the countries you manage
- negotiate legal contracts with energy commodities suppliers and network operators
- provide inputs to energy reporting consultant and validate energy prices, integrated business planning forecasts for electricity, natural gas, LPG and other energy commodities
- promote usage of energy reports among key stakeholders such as plant controllers, supply chain team and other
- participate in energy intensive consumers associations meetings to ensure the interest of company is raised to the right stakeholders, make connections with market, government and commissions to enable proper regulatory risk management
You will report to the LATAM Energy Procurement Manager; like all global-based roles in our company, domestic and international travel will be required
This role could be considered as fully remote,
but occasional activities in LATAM O-I offices and/or plants are to be expected - ranging from a few hours of on-site work to several days

Confident, results driven and good with people.
You have a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Engineering or any procurement-related fields; you have at least 5 years of experience in Energy Procurement in LATAM and solid negotiation skills with a proven success history in negotiating energy, contract terms and conditions
Lean Six Sigma training and a previous experience in project management, while not compulsory, will be desirable

This role is fully remote, and could be based in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil or Mexico; occasional activities in LATAM O-I offices and/or plants are to be expected, ranging from a few hours of on-site work to several days
