This role involves heading up a team of procurement and logistics specialists in the Smart Power business in Apodaca,
implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
You will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
**This position reports to**:
Category Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Work with requestors/suppliers to manage supplier day-to-day problem resolution.
- AP support with daily inquiries.
(Rejected, missing, issues in payments)
- Follow and document promptly all process related to Process Excellence.
- Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes, and systems.
- SAP Vendor Master - daily activities: Make sure the proper changes on the system are made to have the vendor data up to date and prevent any PO delivery issues as well as update the banking information to make sure supplier is receiving the payments on time.
- Train users in SAP Torque, SNET or other portals.
- ERS conversions.
**Your background**:
- 1 year of experience in Procurement and Logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering,
Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced level of English.
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel (reports, analysis, pivots, macro).
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
