This web-focused team is part of the Buyer Experience Initiative, and is dedicated to developing features that improve clarity and interaction with listings which offer both personalizable and customizable options.As a Software Engineer II on our team, you will be responsible for:Building and maintaining software written in PHP and React/TypescriptClose attention to detail, with the ability to translate design and product requirements to production-ready codeStrong communication that adapts to technical and non-technical audiencesWork closely with third-party APIs, such as Zendesk, to provide stellar support to our buyersConsistently and proactively breaking down large features into multiple stages for deliveryIdentifying and resolving difficult architectural and technical trade-offsCollaborate with teammates across various subject areas, including engineering, product management, product design, and data analyticsThis is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.
