**Global Power BI Developer **:**About the Role**
**The developer works with established Essity IT standards and methodologies.
Also, serves as the channel between the customer community and the solution development teams, supporting the delivery of the necessary technology services to the business by analyzing and refining requirements.

**
**What You Will Do**
- **Develop, build, configure, unit test and implement solutions based on lower-level designs.
**:
- **Ensure that solutions meet business objectives and requirements outlined in the design documentation.
**:
- **Implement system configuration changes based on defined solution and proposed architecture.
**:
- **Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented according to Essity IT standards.
**:
- **Maintain, support and repair solutions to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specification.
**:
- **Monitor, maintain and support the Power BI platform to keep it performing in accordance with technical and functional specification.
**:
- **Participate in pre-studies and breakdown of business requirements to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time, and resources according to standard templates.
**:
- **Facilitate workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, understanding customer and user requirements.
**:
- **Support development of business cases and support the portfolio prioritization process.
**:
- **Continuously review and edit requirements, specifications and recommendations related to a proposed solution.
**:
- **Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the solution specification.
**:
- **Support implementation of to-be processes, incl.
training delivery**
**Who You Are**
- **Master's/bachelor's degree in a relevant area and 3 - 5 years of working experience**:
- **Experience in writing code using languages such as DAX and M Query.
**:
- **More than 1.5 years of experience designing and developing dashboards using Power BI or similar tools for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards.
**:
- **Loves sharing experience and knowledge to develop competencies within the IT colleagues and Business partners.
**:
- **Strong communication skills to support and coach others on both IT and business sides.
**:
- **Good knowledge of SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data bricks and Azure Data Lake (in terms of connectivity)**:
- **Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral.
**:
- **Experience with Logic APPS for self-serve ETL.
**:
- **Experience with major Big Data platforms and languages such as Python and/or R**:
- **Hands on experience in creating and deploying KPI, analytic, and dashboard solutions including design, development, deployment, data engineering, data warehousing, and data management projects and practices.
**:
- **Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies - Data Lake, S4HANA and Databricks would be a strong plus.
**:
- **Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team and business partners.
**
**Location**
**This position can be based in one of our offices in **Santa Fe (México), Monterrey (México), Colombia (Medellín), Chile, Brazil.
