The Talent Acquisition Director Latam reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas.
This individual will oversee, lead, design, and direct the Talent Acquisition practice in Latin American markets.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the recruiting function, this Director architects and drives the recruitment strategies to fulfill hiring requirements.
This role leads a team of thirty to thirty-five TA Specialists, Recruiters, and administrative staff, leveraging technical and functional expertise across the Company's Latin American operations.
As a key leader,
the Director of Talent Acquisition sets the key strategies to drive the top line of the talent pipeline funnel and fulfill the hiring requirements for this region.
The Director creates guidelines, processes, and standard operating procedures for the recruiting teams and audits, tracks, and reports on each site's adherence and compliance.
This leader will ensure the team goes through functional training and development in order to secure, retain, and develop top talent.
The director will oversee the management of this market's specific recruiting vendor partners while identifying and executing strategies to improve hiring headcount, efficiency, and cost management.
This director will also play a key role in both site selection of new sites, and in pricing wages for current and new accounts in order to be competitive in the marketplace and create realistic hiring projections.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in recruitment and hiring practices.
- Manage site scorecards, track, and report outcomes of talent acquisition activities
- Design, develop,
and oversee Talent Acquisition strategies and programs for this market.
- Advise on agent wages and site selection to ensure optimal positioning in market, setting realistic and achievable hiring targets.
- Create and maintain talent acquisition processes and the procedures, aligning with the Company's best practices
- Review and sign-off on each site's recruiting budget in partnership with Operations leadership.
Share plans with Sr. Director of TA for the Americas, VP of TA and ensure aligning with PO and TA leadership on recruiting costs and trending against the budget and actuals.
- Track, report, and analyze spending by site, group, and geographical areas.
- Leverage proven, successful TA marketing and recruiting strategies across the footprint in Latin America.
- Prepare and deliver training to Talent Acquisition staff in cooperation with Learning & Development and Person Office partners.
- Determine which best practices to adopt in the Latin American markets.
- Negotiate cost-effective solutions for advertising, sourcing, and other talent acquisition activities.
- Review all job descriptions and employee profiles annually with Operations to ensure alignment.
- Act as the go-to expert regarding appropriate TA Marketing channels.
- Work closely with the site directors to ensure the site recruiting departments are following guidelines, are operating effectively and efficiently, and are achieving their hiring targets
Qualifications:
- Fluently Bi-lingual (C1 or higher) in English and Spanish required.
- 7 to 10 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition as a discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager and Director.
- 7+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition leader in the BPO industry.
- 5+ years of experience in TA Marketing and in driving social media and other marketing platforms for TA.
- 5+ years of experience working in Applicant Tracking System platforms, and other Talent Acquisition software and tools.
- 5+ years of high-volume recruiting experience.
- 5+ years of experience in managing recruiting vendor relationships and tools.
- Demonstrated skills in coaching and developing employees to drive team performance and outputs
- Proven, demonstrated strong problem-solving and innovation skills.
- Demonstrated business savvy and acumen with ability to develop and maintain long-term success as a business partner with site-level and senior-level management and site TA teams in a fast paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proven demonstrated experience in balancing people-facing concerns with the business imperatives, while making sound recommendations and exercising good judgment.
- Proven ability to develop and to execute strategic action plans.
- Proven ability to develop strong business relationships and navigate complex political environments and work in matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
