We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.The Job At-A-Glance: The Security Engineer is responsible for managing and enhancing security across the enterprise, including cloud and SaaS environments.This role focuses on securing enterprise infrastructure, systems, and networks, ensuring that security controls are integrated across the organization's environment to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
It also emphasizes data protection, safeguarding sensitive information through strategic security measures and compliance with relevant regulations.Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
Here's What We're Looking For:- Manage advanced security tools, including AWS and Azure security services, DLP,
EDR, and SWG- Ensure comprehensive security logging and monitoring, supporting SIEM management to enhance visibility and response- Enhance detection logic, address vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks in multi-cloud infrastructures- Contribute to the development and implementation of data protection strategies by managing DLP policies and monitoring sensitive data across cloud and SaaS environments-- Design, implement, and maintain security controls to ensure compliance with NIST, SOC 2, SOX, and other relevant industry regulations and standards-- Perform security risk assessments and develop comprehensive security policiesThings You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; orequivalent work experience
