Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Operations Engineering Manager, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Director Operations,
this role involves working responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to the engineering function.
Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods, processes and operations for both new and existing products.
Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and resources in producing cost-effective, quality products and customer solutions.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
- Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
- Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
- Directs the activities of engineers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
- Interacts regularly with executives, customers and outside regulatory agencies.
- Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services.
- Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration.
Experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
- Experience in High Volume & Low Volume
- Fluent English
- Strong Knowledge in PCBA´s (SMT, Back End & integration through robots)
- Customer Service experience
- PFMA, Core tools.
- NPI experience
- Core Tools
- MS Office (Excel, PP)
- Experience with CFT
- Project Management knowledge
- Proactive, leadership.
- Problem solving skills
- Leadership
