EHS Professional Grid Technologies Service MesoamericaAbout the RoleLocation: MexicoRemote vs. Office: Office/Site onlyCompany: Grid TechnologiesBusiness Unit: ServiceEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Experienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your Day:As an EHS Professional (EHS), you will perform a key role to support the success and safety of our services and projects within the Grid Technologies Service Unit in Mexico and Central America.
You will maintain constant communication and a functional relationship with our Latin American Management and our Central Unit in Germany to govern all EHS relevant topics.How You'll Make an Impact:Plan, follow up,
and report several EHS KPIs relevant to our business as part of a Zero Harm Culture.Implement EHS measures and initiatives coordinated with the central EHS department within Mexico, Latin America, and Germany.Train personnel and contractors in local regulations such as STPS-DC3.Advise on EHS requirements and permissions during project activities (e.g., loads lifting).Provide EHS data and information on demand, mandatory for internal reports within Siemens Energy.Support incident investigations and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of near misses to ensure compliance with company procedures, OHSA, EPA, customer policies, and local legislation.Communicate regular updates about injury and disease prevention through mitigation measures and assist in the management, analysis, and interpretation of EHS data using our local EHS tool, Enablon.What You Bring:Travel availability, approx.
60% of the time within Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.Bachelor's degree and >3 years of formal experience related to EHS activities.Wide knowledge in EHS fields, including concepts, practices, and procedures,
with a comprehension of relevant EHS legislation and norms mandatory for Mexico.Proven knowledge in organizational practices and problem-solving.Proven knowledge in Root Cause Analysis and incident investigation methodologies; knowledge about Human Factors / Yield is an advantage.Good English skills (speaking, reading, and writing).About the Team:Our Grid Technologies Service Team in Mexico and Central America is fully committed to a Zero Harm Culture.
