Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.The Controller's Data Remediation team works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute an end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Controller's activities, including global Finance groups, Finance functions, Federated Chief Data Office (FCDO), infrastructure partners and business partners.
This is a business analyst position playing a central role in Finance's data strategy execution and is the opportunity to work on projects that are tightly linked to firm-wide data quality improvements.
The individual in this role will focus on data quality for one of two primary workstreams: (1) data remediation; or (2) adjustment reduction.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with process owners, product SMEs, and Data Stewards across Controller's/Finance, taking ownership of data quality improvements and remediation efforts.Work with groups across Controllership and the wider Finance organization to capture, evaluate, identify synergies and paths of potential remediation for reported data quality issues.Work closely with groups across Finance in developing understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management,
and requirements gathering.Analyze data from multiple sources (e.G.
reports, scorecards, diagrams) to validate dimensions and impact of data quality issues.Analyze data to identify data quality issues and correlate those issues with data specifications and quality rules
