**Global Ocean Capacty Planning Associate Manager (L09)**
The Global Ocean Capacity Planning Specilaist will conduct data analysis of global ocean shipping requirements, and build models to forecast ocean capacity requirements enabling more proactive, accurate and consistent ocean freight execution activities for both procurement and ocean excellence teams.
The role will focus on current PepsiCo managed Ocean freight operations while building new capabilities to scale and expand ocean freight operations to supplier-managed operations in close coordination with I/E procurement capability.
Deep analytics and forecasting of capacity requirements will help the business assess and mitigate risks associated with capacity planning scenarios, include historical and future inputs, and leverage market and industry research.
Complex scenario planning and forecast models will drive better decision making
**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively measure and manage ocean freight capacity globally working with I/E Procurement, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and various sector representatives
- Managing global Ocean capacity with for sectors supporting all Import-Export shipments at optimal rates by working closely with the I/E Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance functions.
- Create global forecast models for ocean frieght needs and conduct detailed scenario planning to understand capability requirements, mitigate risk, and ensure service excellence
- Develops analysis to assess and mitigate risks associated with capacity planning scenarios, and improve accuracy of forecasts for Ocean Excellence teams to execute
- Support an integrated global Ocean freight Excellence organization to deliver cost transformation, net revenue growth, service excellence, and PEP+ benefits for PEP
- Support managing KPIs, leading practices and standards for global Ocean freight management
- Guarantee operational continuity for the all sectors, through the right international logistic strategy definition for the ocean freight shipments in order to obtain the optimum service delivery, transportation time, and costs.
- Support delivery of cost reductions and savings, by optimizing ocean freight trade routes international logistic routes, transportation types, custom borders, carriers and brokers, as well as, reducing detention, demurrages, delays and storages.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Operations Management, Statistics, Supply Chain, Logistics or applicable degree
- 3-5 years operations, financial planning, transportation w/ emphasis on data-analytics, modeling (ocean, air, international logistics)
- Demonstrated data-anlytics / forecasting ability using industry standard tools
- Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
- Capable of working in a remote work group and being managed by a remote manager
- Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems
- Ability to identify business issues and escalate in a timely fashion
- Self-starter with attention to detail and experience leading multiple teams
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across multi-functional, sector, and business teams
- Ability to lead in a matrix organization - Proven leadership ability to influence others and drive results without direct reporting relationship
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner
- English Fluency both written and verbal required; Exceptional communication skills across global businesses (additional languages a plus)
- Strong track record to manage multiple competing cross-functional priorities
- Experience with IT platforms and tools including design, configuration, development and implementation (supply chain, visibility, planning (BY/Llamasoft and transporation systems a plus)
- Experience directly leading cross-functional compet
