**We are searching for the best talent for STRATEGIC SUPPLY SPECIALIST to be in Independencia.
****Purpose**:The Reporting to a Sourcing Manager the Strategic Supply Specialist will support category development, sourcing of components and supplier relationship management for all raw material categoriesThe Strategic Supply Specialist will assist customers in locating and selecting suppliers for purchases per category strategies, negotiate prices, administer contracts, track supplier performance, develop non-strategic suppliers, develop, and improve business processes or category strategies, and support sites as needed.
**You will be responsible for**:Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines,
this position will be responsible for the following:**POLICIES**:Know & follow EES policies & procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
**TRAINING**:Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period.
Training is required for changes in existing policies & procedures, for new assignments & for implementation of new policies & procedures.
Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety & environmental.
**SAFETY**:Follow all company safety policies & other safety precautions within work area.
Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.
**STRATEGIC SUPPLY SPECIALIST **Trainee, Assistant & Primary level responsibilities:- Follow J&J; and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules,
Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third-party vendor if applicable.- Understand the basic business needs and capabilities for spend categories or business processes
