he Business Development Associate is responsible for selling sponsorships and attendee passes for Opal Group events, and developing relationships with our existing and potential clients to invite and secure their attendance.

esponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
onduct prospect research and develop a plan of action for communicating the value of Opal Group Conferences to key decision-makers.
inding, pitching, sponsorship opportunities, as well as ensuring audience attendance.
iscovery of new leads through LinkedIn, emails, research and tools that Opal provides.
ogging all new leads, current interactions, and client updates in the CRM database.
evelop and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to garner new business.
isplay professionalism and maintain constant correspondence with clients via phone and e-mail.
equirements.
achelor's Degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in sales/sponsorships.
referably call center customer service experience.
bility to meet monthly sales goals.
xperience selling intangible services.
xcellent communication skills, both writing and speaking.
utstanding interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to relate to people at all levels both inside and outside the business.
bility to interface with the Opal Group team, clients, vendors, prospects, and the public.
bility to conduct research and complete business transactions from A to Z.
