**Role Purpose**:
The Master Data Management Data Engineer will lead development teams to design, develop, and deliver reliable/scalable master data components using DA&I;'s Profisee environment, integration platforms, and Microsoft Azure stack.
Use of an agile framework and DevOps methodologies will be leveraged to fulfill development activities.
This role within DA&I; will provide the needed technical services for RA capability teams that need to deliver on master data initiatives for the organization.
The Master Data Management Data Engineer is multi-skilled engineer who helps to lead development teams, design/estimate work, accept stories into delivery increments and complete tasks to deliver the work.
Is proficient in master data concepts, data analytics, data integrations, data quality, user interface design, support platform operations, and process improvement methodologies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Supports cross-functional development activity in conjunction with other integration technology resources
- Provides platform support and facilitates component upgrades
- Develops and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments
- Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies
- Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model
- Enables automated testing procedures
- Implements software in all environments
- Leverages containerization models and works with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current
Leads development team to produce high-quality code compliant with regulations
- Collaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field
- English fluent
- Experience with Profisee master data management platform
- Experience with Microsoft.NET/C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and DevOps
- Experience with data integrations leveraging API & ETL tools (MuleSoft, SAP Data Services, Microsoft Azure Data Factory)
- Experience with scheduling tools (BMC Control-M, Microsoft Task Scheduler)
- Experiance with build and deployment automation using CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
- Experience in systems development lifecycle
- Experience in Analytical concepts and implementations
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
- Experience with server-side architectures and containerization
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with business concepts and data story telling
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Ability to lead and organize work of other development team members
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
