**Key Responsibilities**- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all operations related to freight forwarding.- Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, effectively communicating logistics needs and updates.
Ensure that all parties are well-informed throughout the transportation process.- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during operations.
Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to address challenges efficiently.- Documentation Management: Maintain and manage all necessary documentation related to logistics operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse teams, to ensure seamless logistics operations.- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
**Qualifications**- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations or related fields, preferably within the context of freight forwarding.- Educational Background: A degree in logistics,
or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.- Skills: Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain a positive work atmosphere.- Adaptability: Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
