**_**What you will do***Work closely with the Power BI Architect to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver valuable insights.
Translate Tableau reports into Power BI,
maintaining consistency in functionality and design.
*Collaborate with the Power BI Architect and internal teams to learn and implement best practices for Power BI development.
Assist in the knowledge transfer process, providing training and support for colleagues transitioning to Power BI.
*Manage and administer Power BI Services, including Power BI Fabric.
Work on setting up environments, deploying reports, and ensuring the platform is configured to meet security and performance requirements.
*Work with the team to translate business requirements from Tableau reports into Power BI designs and visualizations, ensuring the migration from Tableau is smooth and efficient.
*Maintain documentation for Power BI reports, dashboards, and project status using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Keep track of development tasks, timelines, and progress.
*Engage with teams across the organization, including business users, security, and governance teams, to ensure that Power BI solutions meet functional, security,
and compliance requirements.
**Requirements**:*- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer.- Experience translating Tableau reports into Power BI is highly preferred.- Solid understanding of Power BI development, including report building, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
*- Experience working with Power BI Services and Power BI Fabric for administration and report deployment.
*- Experience working with cloud-native environments and databases like Redshift, SQL Server, and ServiceNow for data integration and reporting.
*- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.
*- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance principles related to Power BI and cloud-based reporting.
*- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Power BI Architect and business stakeholders.
*- Experience with Tableau is a plus, especially for translating Tableau reports into Power BI.- Familiarity with Power BI dataflows and Power Query for data transformation.- Knowledge of Power BI DAX for data modeling and calculation creation.
