**IT Network Security (Firewall expert)****Location**: Mexico, Queretaro, CDMX or Guanajuato**Department**: Siemens Energy Information Technology**Mode of Employment**: Permanent**LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU****Your profile**- Bachelor's / Master's degree in business informatics, business administration, or equal, ideally with experience in service management- 5+ years of total working experience covering:- Networking and Server Engineering- Packet based networks, routing, redundancy and transport protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF and VXLAN) on several network vendors- Zscaler- Equinix Fabric or similar service- Cloud Connectivity and Networking- SD-WAN, SD-LAN- Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
- Good to have- Cisco Certified Security Professional - Security (CCNP - Security) - Good to have- Experience in next tools and environments:- Aruba ClearPass- Palo Alto portfolio- Virtualization- Excellent stakeholder management skills within a global environment- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations; Good organizational skills.- Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills- Organized, ability to work independent and within a team to achieve given objectives- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a systematic and logical manner, and maintain good communications with all relevant parties throughout troubleshooting process- Demonstrates keen interest in continuous learning and professional development- Must be fluent in the English language with proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills**Your responsibilities**- Troubleshooting Network security incidents- Install, configure and support network and firewall infrastructure within the region- Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including source and destination IPs,
Ports, Transport Protocol- Works with an experienced team of network engineers in performing vulnerability and fault analysis on enterprise perimeter devices, and developing and implementing system remediation and recovery plans- Enterprise network security solutions and design standards- Identifying root cause of incidents and making appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure- Being proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality- Strictly following Move to Production process including checking that tools and documentation are up to date- Lead and participate in group projects with global regional team members**Your opportunities for personal growth**- Be part of an international,
