ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Input into overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.
2. Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind.
3. Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives.
4.



Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience.
5. Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.
6. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
7. Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff.
8. Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
9. Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
10. Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates.
11. Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
12. Assess candidates’ information, including resumes, portfolios, and references.
13. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
14. Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders,



according to brand standards.
15. Keep a constant audit of the requisitions and time to fill in the talent acquisition system.
16. Ensure that new leaders are trained in the Talent Acquisition & Workday processes within 30 days of hiring.
17. Update and keep on track with talent acquisition trends, both local and national.
18. Coordinate onboarding for new associates within 30 days with Talent Development.
19. Control, update, and follow proper data management on the Workday system.
20. Compile associate files to be passed to HR Generalist.
21. Ensure 100% compliance of talent acquisition and new hire files with corporate standards.
22. Propose new initiatives for the acquisition and retention of needed human talent.
23. Cooperate in HR global initiatives.
24. Responsible for biweekly reports regarding head count, attrition, vacancies,



new hires, time to fill, and onboarding compliance.
25. Coordinate with Talent Development & HR Generalist the agenda for new leaders.
26. Ensure that users, accesses, and tools are coordinated by the Manager to assist and positively close the new hires’ experience.
27. Ensure the annual revision and update of job descriptions for the property.
28. Comply with all internal process requirements and audits.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. 2 years of work experience in talent acquisition or similar roles.
2. Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
3. Experience with full cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
4. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
5. Experience in using different tools for talent solutions to proactively source candidates.




6. A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company.
7. Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar.
2. 2-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar.
3. Certification from the HR Certification Institute would be a bonus.
4. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary languages used in the workplace (Spanish/English).
5. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Most tasks are performed in a team environment with this position acting as a team leader.
7. Must possess advanced computer skills.
8. Must be highly organized, provide attention to detail,



and understand a sense of urgency.
9. Ability to learn, study, analyze, and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
10. Ability to make decisions with only general policies and procedures available for guidance.
11. Ability to apply supervisory/management soft skills and adapt to different environments.
12. Must possess persuasive communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, and influence professionals and employees.
13. Thorough knowledge of federal and local laws.

EDUCATION

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent education/experience required.

EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum of two years of employment in a related position (e.g., Human Resources). Previous experience in the international hospitality industry is highly preferred.
