What you will do:
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Sr. Procurement Manager to lead a team of 6 buyers in driving growth and profitability for our Chillers Product Business Unit (PBU). You will be a key member of the PBU leadership team reporting to the Director of Procurement. You will provide innovative procurement solutions and foster a high-performing team environment in a business experiencing rapid expansion.
How you will do it:
1. Lead with a Growth Mindset: Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities with a focus on business expansion and category growth.
2. Drive Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a growth-minded approach within your team, promoting supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Foster Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and effective communication skills.
4. Lead a High-Performing Team: Develop and coach a team of 6 buyers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
5. Develop and Execute Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with the PBU leadership team to define and execute strategic procurement initiatives that optimize spend within the ~1B annual budget.
6. Manage End-to-End NPI Support: Provide comprehensive procurement support for new product introductions (NPI) within the PBU.
7. Lead Negotiations: Secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality through strategic negotiations with critical suppliers.
8. Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure team compliance with established procurement processes and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
9. Develop Team Capabilities: Champion continuing education for your team to enhance their effectiveness and build strong supplier relationships.
10. Promote Sustainability:
Identify and implement sustainable procurement practices within the global supply chain.
What we look for:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent; an MBA is a plus.
2. Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a multinational organization.
3. Minimum 6 years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, preferably with Direct Materials.
4. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams within a matrix environment.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and complex situations.
7. Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems.
8. Experience negotiating complex supply contracts.
9. Ability to travel 10% globally and domestically.
