We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join us at our diverse team. The Process Technician will be responsible for the distributors assembly process in different cells from set-up to testing. The Process Technician will be responsible for the distributors assembly process in different cells from set-up to testing.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the process to build distributors, filters and components.
- Make reports for major breakdowns and use existing systems for downtime data record.
- Provide line support for the manual and automated cells and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality
- Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor
- Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results
- Works closely with several departments (Production, Process, Safety and Quality).
**Background & Skills**:
- Deep knowledge and experience on automated production cells.
- Must have expertise on Siemens PLC systems. Use of Step 7 and/ or TIA Portal.
- Experience on HMI programing.
- Knowledge and experience on Robot maintenance and programming.
- Failure tracking and analysis.
- Must have technical degree on Maintenance, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronical or related career.
- Desire for at least 5 experience in Maintenance.
- Full time availability, rotate shift and willing to work on holidays and weekends as requested.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
- Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.
- Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
- Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
