**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Verify,
allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and issues that arise
- Daily recording of cash receipts to the GL accounting system. Liaison with cashier's administrator to ensure accuracy of transactions
- Prepare standard and recurring journal entries, booking accrual entries for related accounts
- Assign GL codes, prepare for review by management, and ensure journals are uploaded into appropriate financial systems
- Assist with other month-end processes and general ledger account reconciliations as need; prepare ad-hoc analysis if current month's conditions indicate

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting, treasury, or finance environment
- US GAAP accounting experience
- GL accounting experience
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet and database skills
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- NetSuite knowledge preferred- At least three years of related experience required- **Workspace**:A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
